Jada Pinkett is considering boycotting The Academy Awards (Oscars) because no black actor were nominated for this year’s award.
The actress and wife of actor Will Smith took to her Twitter account to dish her thoughts on the matter which has courted controversy since the nominations were revealed.
“At the Oscars…people of color are always welcomed to give out awards…even entertain. But we are rarely recognized for our artistic accomplishments. Should people of color refrain from participating all together,” she fumed
I don’t get the fuss with all these. Asian and Hispanic actors were all snubbed for the Oscars but we don’t see them bitching up like our black folks. Jada is probably whining because her husband for snubbed for his role as Dr. Bennet Omalu in Concussion.
