UK Preacher Selling Olive Oil That Cures HIV/AIDS And Cancer

A Kenyan preacher in the UK, Gilbert Deya, has apparently stumbled on a couple of miracle cures that would greatly benefit modern medicine and revolutionise the history of man- cures for cancer and HIV/AIDS.
Deya has been selling his olive oil to his congregation for as long as he has been operating, and an undercover report by the Sun managed to bust the pastor, as he sold the supposed ‘cure’ to them.
The newspaper crew went to see the preacher, who heads the Gilbert Deya Ministries and calls himself the ‘Archbishop of Peckham’; and managed to get him to sell the oil to them.
Two Sun reporters Brian Flynn and Lee Sorrell went to see the preacher, and Mr Deya anointed the oil and gave it to the two of them.
“Don’t use any oil except this and the cancer will just disappear.” The ‘Archbishop’ reportedly told them.
He also smeared some of the oil on the woman’s chest, claiming that is the beginning of her ‘miracle’, according to the Daily Mail.
After the release of the report, the pastor denied he has been fleecing his congregation for money. According to him, selling the oil is not unique to his branch.
He still maintained that his oil cures aliments, though.
“It is not just this ministry, if you go to other Catholic Churches they use oil all the time.
“It says in Mark 6:13 ‘They drove out many demons and rubbed olive oil on many sick people and healed them.
“Cancer is a disease, fibroids is a disease. It is not the oil that heals. It is the power of God.”
The undercover reporters also determined that he had leaflets he was selling, which listed several other life problems which could be solved by his olive oil.
It’s amusing to me that they think this is a ‘scandal’ in the UK; this is just par for the course in Ghana.
