Yesterday, actress-Christabel  Ekeh dropped a huge smile on the faces of the children of Teshie Orphanage by donating a range of necessities—including Toiletries, Oil, Detergents, Bags of rice, Cups, Boxes of Indomie, Drinks, Biscuits and Clothes to the orphanage for the upkeep of the children.
The actress who was accompanied by friends and family added a cash of thousand Ghana cedis (GHC 1000) to the items donated.
After the donation, Christabel Ekeh said; “I am very happy within myself for being able to do a thing like this, I pray for strength and also pray that, just the same way it came to my thoughts to come here and help these orphans, others can be inspired by it.”
She continued; “This is not a very big orphanage and there are not too many children over here, hence, Teshie Orphanage Home is on most occasions overlooked  but that shouldn’t be the case. I would like to urge individuals who want to donate to remember these kids here at Teshie”.
Christabel Ekeh is a multiple award winning actress with a warm heart—her film and TV credits include; Potomanto, Efya and Friends, Before Noon, Victims, Royal Diadem, V-Republic and Love or Something Like That.
