Tennis star Andy Murray and his wife Kim are ecstatic after they welcomed their first child into the world.
Kim Murray gave birth to their daughter, the couple’s first, on Sunday February 7.
Andy and Kim (née Sears) got married early last year, and announced the pregnancy not long after. The two were teenage sweethearts, having been together for ten years before getting married at age 28.
Andy Murray finished as runner-up at the recently held Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne, Australia. The 28 year old Scotsman is Britain’s number one ranked tennis player, and is the holder of two Grand Slam titles, and also won gold at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
