An older brother of the President John Dramani Mahama, Alfred Mahama, has reportedly been hospitalised after being involved in an accident.
According to multiple reports, the accident occurred on Tuesday night, leaving Mr Mahama with bruises all over his body. He has been admitted to the 37 Miltary Hospital.
Alfred is an elder brother to the President, and a businessman and mining consultant. Initial reports wrongly pegged the President’s more (in)famous brother, Ibrahim Mahama, as the one involved in the accident.
The cause of the accident is still not known, as details remain sketchy. He is still receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital.
