A 30 year old man is reportedly on the run in the Eastern Region after he stabbed his girlfriend to death on Valentine’s Day for refusing him s*x.
Ebenezer Yaw Darko , a small scale miner in Suminakese in the Eastern Region, reportedly spent about Ghc 500 on his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day; but had his expectations shattered when at the end of the night she did not want to engage in intercourse with him.
According to Classfmonline, this sent Darko into a fit of rage, leading to him attempting to rape his girlfriend, and then stabbing her with a knife when he did not get his way.
The lady, Yaa Nimakoa, died whilst being rushed to hospital. The incident has been reported to the Suminakese Police Command, who have launched a manhunt for the suspect, currently on the run.
Murder as a response to not getting s*x seems as disproportionate as it comes. Hopefully this guy gets what’s coming to him when police capture him.
