Manny Pacquaio himself has in the past revealed the depraved life he lived as fame started to sink in, but he’s ‘born again’ now so all that’s moot- and he now has the moral high ground to ‘judge’ others.
Running for a senate seat in his native Philippines, the legendary boxer revealed stunningly ignorant, but perhaps popular views, about gay people in a television interview. According to this rich a**hole who does not take the trouble to educate himself, gays are worse than animals because even animals do not mate with the same s*x.
“It’s common sense. Do you see animals mating with the same s*x?
“Animals are better because they can distinguish male from female,” Pacquiao told local broadcaster TV5 in an interview aired earlier this week.
“If men mate with men and women mate with women they are worse than animals.”
Notice an eerie similarity between his views and that of Dr Mensa Otabil? Smart people know this is nothing but a bunch of lies, spewed by ignorant people cloaking themselves in religion to cover their bigotry. Homos*xuality has been documented in over 1,500 animals in nature. When people make that statement, they aren’t only being bigoted, they are just factually wrong.
The Philippines is a strong Catholic nation, with over 80% of the country subscribing to the faith. It is also a country with immense poverty, a background Pacquiao himself rose out from. You see once again that link between extreme religion and poverty.
After taking much flak online, Pacquiao apologised for his comments. However, he maintained that he is still against same-s*x marriage.
According to MailOnline, during his time in the House of Representatives, Pacquiao did very little work, preferring his career instead. According to the site, “Pacquaio was notorious for his chronic absences, favouring boxing training over legislation. In one of the rare times he spoke at the legislature, Pacquiao quoted heavily from the Bible as he vigorously sought to stop a proposed law, since passed, granting free condoms to the poor.”
Just look at that. Now, it looks like he’s going to the Senate not to look for proper solutions to the problems facing his people, but to waste his time fighting gay people. It’s like the pastors in Ghana who are so worried about gay people when the country has more pressing problems; it’s that lack of priorities.
Pacquiao might have been, no, was, a great boxer- but it’s already obvious he would be a terrible politician. Such ignorance of basic scientific facts simply says it all about him.

I’m sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I’ve hurt. I still stand on my belief that I’m against same sex marriage because of what the Bible says, but I’m not condemning LGBT. I love you all with the love of the Lord.
