Kintampo Crash: Prominent Leaders Share Condolences With Victims

Ghanaians awoke on Thursday to sad news involving an accident in Kintampo that has so far killed over three score people and wounded several others.
The President, John Dramani Mahama, shared his condolences in the immediate aftermath of the accident on twitter, and also followed up with more updates for the Ghanaian people on what was happening.
The leader of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, also shared his grief over the tragedy with the families of the victims. He also expressed his on twitter.
UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, also chimed in to commiserate with the victims.
A Metro Mass Transit bus travelling to Tamale crashed into a cargo track Wednesday night, killing many on the spot, and leaving several others injured.
At the moment, the dead is totalled at over sixty (still rising), with many hospitalised, some of whom are also reported dead at the hospital.
