ISD Boss Apologises For His Initial Apology Which Blamed Independence Day Brochure Mistakes On The Department

This is amazing. This guy initially had to apologise for the mistakes in the brochure, and now he has to apologise for that apology.
It seems aside messing up, even cleaning up that mess is a strain for this incompetent bunch we’ve put in charge.
The Acting Director of the Information Services Department (ISD), Mr Francis Kwarteng Arthur , who authored the initial apology for the brochures that incensed the ISD’s workers, has come out to apologise for unfairly laying the blame on them.
Mr Arthur, after a meeting with the workers Tuesday, conceded that the brochure was solely his handiwork, which he carried out as Chairperson of the Communication Subcommittee of the 59th Independence Anniversary Planning Committee, and not as the Acting Director of ISD.
He therefore apologised for issuing the initial apology in the name of ISD.
The ISD acting head had earlier on Monday, issued an apology in the name of ISD for the error riddled Independence day brochure. This forced workers of the Department to hold a press conference to distance themselves from the attributed blame, saying inter alia that, they were not in any involved in the preparation and printing of the brochure and therefore cannot ascertain why a letter was issued on their behalf, apologizing for an act or omission that had nothing to do with them.
This is sweet, apology within apologies. Nothing encapsulates the current rotten state of Ghana quite like this debacle.
