Boxer Braimah Kamoko, who was recently arrested by the Accra Central Police for assaulting three women, has been granted bail.
The boxer, who’s more commonly known by the moniker ‘Bukom Banku’, was granted bail in the sum of Ghs 5,000 with two sureties, set to be arraigned for court after investigations are completed.
Banku was arrested Tuesday by the Accra Central Police for allegedly assaulting a lady and her companions, after he reportedly propositioned her and she refused.
Banku therefore assaulted her and her for refusing his offer, and then two others who tried to intervene.
The victim, Charlote Dodoo, said Banku hit her, and he slapped the others.
The incident occurred last week, but efforts to get the Jamestown police to arrest the boxer proved futile. So the victim reported the case to the Accra Central Police, who then proceeded to arrest and detain Banku.
