Ghana coach Avram Grant has hinted that he plans to step down from the post after he leads the side at the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
According to the Israeli trainer, he misses the hustle and bustle of day to day club management, hence is targeting a return to club management, most probably in the English Premier League.
Speaking to 102fm in his homeland, Grant revealed the likely decision.
“The competitiveness and creativity in training every day of the week is different. There is no doubt that I miss it,” he said.
“My contract ends after the African Cup of Nations Championships in Gabon early next year.
“…At the end of my contract, it is possible I will coach a team in England.”
This indicates that he would leave the team hanging  midway through qualifying for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Grant, however, has had an indifferent relationship with his bosses and the Ghanaian media and public, making it doubtful anyone would really mourn his departure.  He has been criticised for spending too much time in Europe and not enough in Ghana monitoring the local league, and when queried about it, indicated that Ghanaians like concentrating too much on bullsh*t.
