Following on from 1996’s Independence Day, the mega box office hit starring Will Smith- Independence Day: Resurgence is set to tell the story of the triumph of the human species against extra-terrestrial forces all over again.
The sequel has lined up a star studded cast of veterans from the first instalment, as well as some fresh faces. Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox would be returning to reprise their original roles, whilst Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward join afresh.
Resurgence is written by Roland Emmerich, Dean Devlin and Carter Blanchard, and is directed by Emmerich.
