The ‘swagon papa’, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, known in showbiz as Funny Face, has paid homage to one of his predecessors, who he has described as a legend.
Agya Koo, who is credited with raising Kumawood’s comedy aspect to whole new levels with his work, was the target of the comedian’s admiration.
The former Chorkor Trotro star, in a post on social media Monday, said Agya Koo was a legend in a business, and that he salutes him ‘all day everyday’.
The 46 year old Agya Koo, born Kofi Adu, has been out of the spotlight for the past few years, as new talents like Lilwin have taken up the mantle of Kumawood comedy- but he remains a trailblazer that is hugely admired in the industry.
As Funny Face showed with his out-of-the-blue post on Facebook.
