Ghanaian duo Reggie and Bollie says their financial situation after their appearance on UK’s X-Factor can be described as ‘comfortable’.
The pair placed second on the reality singing show, and have consequently landed a deal with Simon Cowell- they recently came back home to shoot their first music video.
Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, the duo were asked about how their finances have improved since their stint on the show and the attendant fame it’s brought them.
“Well, we won’t say that we are rich because what we are earning could be peanuts for someone else. But at least, we are comfortable enough to provide for our respective families and give them the comfort that every husband would want for his family and we thank God for that” Reggie told the newspaper.
He added that they have just commenced the journey to the top, therefore they would stay focused and work to actively eschew complacency.
“We have just started the journey and allowing fame get into our heads will be a disaster.  We are rather working hard to reach greater heights.
“What have we achieved that thousands of artistes haven’t already done yet?” he queried. “Yes, we are humbled by how far we have come but we are not complacent.
“However, it feels great to be famous”
Reggie and Bollie were in Ghana last week to shoot ‘New Girl’, their debut single since banding together as a group to take on the world on X-Factor. They were both hiplife artists in Ghana before leaving for the United Kingdom years ago to reboot their careers.
