VIDEO: Watch British Premier David Cameron Call Nigeria ‘Fantastically’ Corrupt

cameron-queen
British Prime Minister David Cameron is all over the news after he referred to our West African neighbours Nigeria and Afghanistan as ‘fantastically corrupt’ nations.
The Conservative MP was briefing the Queen, the Speaker of the House and the Archbishop of Canterbury about an upcoming anti-corruption summit when he uttered the now infamous words.
“We’ve got the Nigerians, actually we’ve got the leaders of some fantastically corrupt countries coming to Britain.” He told the Queen.
“Nigeria and Afghanistan, possibly the two most corrupt countries in the world.”
New Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is famed for a no-nonsense approach to fight the rot in the country, so the Nigerian government are probably not going to be too enthused with the comment. The Archbishop, though, took pains to clarify that the current President is not corrupt.
The comment was probably not meant to be caught on a hot mic, but it was. Check out the video below..
