Former Black Stars footballer-John Paintsil has earned a media reputation for himself as a woman beater, based on unending allegations: that he once beat his wife-Richlove Paintsil which ended him in police custody—and also that he did beat a police woman yesterday when his wife reported him at the East Legon Police station, where he is currently in cells.
It has always been media reports based on allegations mounted by the wife—but this time, his big sister-Tina Paintsil has exclusively spoken to GhanaCelebrities.Com, dishing out everything that there’s to know.
Tina Paintsil, based in London contacted GhanaCelebrities.Com’s Editor-Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri because she feels the story has always been one sided and unfair to John Paintsil who for all that has been happening these years has said nothing in the media.
Therefore, it’s time for people to know the true story (as she puts it) and establish for themselves whether indeed John Paintsil who has been excessively supportive of his wife-Richlove Paintsil, demands all that she has been cruelly serving him.

Apparently, John Paintsil’s wife has been spending a lot of late nights in clubs, sometime she does not even come home—and the sort of stuffs she wears for her late night outings are not what a married Ghanaian woman should proudly be wearing.
In fact, it’s believed that she is cheating, one of the reasons why she is always at loggerheads with her husband.
We are told, though still married to John Paintsil, she has packed her things out of her matrimonial home and claims she has rented her own place—and then there’s the issue of money and property thievery.

Many of the relationships between footballers and their wives are full of problems, mostly around when the footballers’ careers are at the lowest—perhaps, most of these women come in for the gold-digging, and when the gold mines are almost dry, the cheating, gross disrespect and ill-treatments set him.
And it could also be that, these footballers are not handling their relationships as they ought to.
Whatever it is, the conundrum is far from being solved—and John Paintsil and wife’s issue from what his sister has narrated is far deeper than we knew.
