“When a National Service Personnel proposes to marry a woman, that lady should report him to the nearest Police Station.”-Counsellor George Lutterodt. Tell me I am the only one who sees the farce in the above and let me visit Pantang as soon as I can. Ghanaians indeed have bitten more than they can chew.
Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt is a household brand (Reverend Counsellor, just in case you got confused) because of his drama and disputable comments and opinions.
He calls himself the Emotional Fixer! This is because his work helps people to have a life which they can meaningfully enjoy and appreciate. If only he had an iota of the harm he has caused since he started opening his mouth, he wouldn’t dare pride himself with that title (the irony of it).
The first time I heard Lutterodt speak was on Naa Ashorkor’s Tales from the powder room and I just knew the future wouldn’t be bright if I heed to all that I heard (even with the little I heard). The man was drowning gloriously in blabbering. Then I saw him again and again on other platforms with the same confused and superficial theories and concepts. The truth is I would stop whatever I was doing just to listen to him. His talks are stress releasing. I see Kevin Hart when I see Counsellor Lutterodt and this is why…
“If any man who is not married to you but uses your picture as his DP (display picture) go to the police and get him arrested.” Tell me dear reader, what is the sense in that? If displaying a picture of your choice is deemed a crime then there would be more prisons than schools and hospitals. Did they amend the constitution and we never got wind of it? What wrong is in it (ok perhaps it would block one’s chances to potential suitors), even that it still doesn’t make sense.
“If you are a woman and you date one man for more than two weeks then there is something wrong with you.” So women can date as many men as they want? This is ridiculous. Is our “all knowing” counsellor not advocating multiple dating then? Well he says dating is not a relationship so ladies let’s queue the men up (cheeeers kraaa).
“Never allow a poor man to marry you. A poor man’s marriage will kill you early. And when you die you will go to hell”. Who will not want to have a lavishing white wedding with a memorable honeymoon, who will not want to own a garage with fleets of cars, who will not want extravagance to flood them?
Only a fool would say no to honey (ideally we all deserve that) but the reality is life is under no obligation to give us what we want. Mister counsellor this your statement is a dry joke (it lacks substance). Who does he think he is to know those who would be going to the supposed hell? I bore sef
“A man is not ready for marriage when he lives in ‘obey the wind’ self contain. ‘Obey the wind’ self contain is a room you partition with cast-off (foes) curtains and you hold the middle with pegs and when the wind blows, you see chamber and hall.” This man officially is an ISSUE. If this were to be the case then Ghana would have a lot more spinsters than the words in an encyclopaedia. It is not as if the place of resident guarantees the success of marriages (haven’t we seen the wealthy’s failed marriages).
What is wrong with a wife sending her naked picture to her husband? What is the disrespect in that if the husband in question has seen the nakedness of his wife times without number? It looks like Counsellor Lutterodt has a problem to every solution. Let me place it here before the wrath of God descends on me. I can simply not say much about a man who thinks prayers can end dumsor (such disingenuous idea).
