Former Cameroon international and record four time African footballer of the Year, Samuel Eto’o Fils, have married his long time sweetheart and mother of his children, Georgette Tra Lou, in a lavish ceremony in the Italian town of Stezzano.
Eto’o and Georgette tied the knot in a quite ceremony a while back, but had yet to hold their extravagant white wedding- which they finally rectified with Tuesday’s ceremony.
Eto’o and Georgette have two children together.
Among those in attendance were Carles Puyol, the former captain of Barcelona who played for several years with the Cameroonian international.
Eto’o played for Barcelona and Inter Milan, amongst others, in a storied career that earned him a record four time African player of the year award, as well as back to back to back trebles with Barcelona and Internazionale in 2009 and 2010, a feat no other player has achieved in the game.
