Whoever is managing Ghana’s Electoral Commission’s official Facebook page must have a lot of time on his or her hand—and perhaps deserves to be double paid for all the back and forth with social media trolls.
About 18 hours ago, the EC’s official page posted this:
‪#‎Election2016‬: It is a complete deception for anyone to claim that the EC cannot compile a credible list of voters who registered using the NHIS card as a form of identification. It is also false for anyone to claim that the EC cannot comply with the orders of the Supreme Court. Wherein lies the difficulty when the EC has the primary document? The Commission will fully satisfy the request of the Apex Court.
While some called the post an attempt by the EC to answer an imaginary question since no one had said anything to them on this issue to warrant an answer, others went purely mad—several Ghanaians posted harsh comments, to which the EC kept replying.
