Ghana rap ‘sofor’ Obrafour has a few words of congratulations for BET award nominee MzVee.
The dancehall songstress was nominated for this year’s awards in the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category. She lost the final award to Black Coffee, but undoubtedly gained international exposure she hitherto did not have.
Obrafour seemingly took notice of that, and sent her a congratulatory message on social media Monday.
Some fans are puzzled though, wondering what she has done to deserve commendation. Her nomination was in doubt since day one, anyway. It seems a stretch that MzVee is the name that stands out to you when you look back at the Ghanaian music scene for the past calendar year.
