The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC),Allotey Jacobs has added his voice to the many voices reproaching Kennedy Ohene Agyapong,member of parliament for Assin Central for alleging the chairperson of the Electoral commission(EC) has has that office in exchange of sex.
Mister Jacobs said no reasonable person would make such a repugnant comment against anyone.“Why are some Ghanaians trying to pull her down, we should allow her to be. I tell you, any man that accuses a woman of exchanging sex for a post is a homosexual,” Mr. Jacobs told Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5FM.
He added “that person might also be impotent. What at all is happening in Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana? When you look at the rich CV of the EC Boss, her qualifications…rising through the ranks to her current position, I don’t see why people should speak ill of her. She’s taken the bull by the horn and working very hard, we need to support her so she delivers.”
Meanwhile the Honourable MP has vehemently refused to render any apology of any form and even said he would say more of his dare button is pushed.
