Kumasi Bakery Attack | Two In Critical Condition

Murder
Murder

Who would ever think a simple misunderstanding, probably an innocent banter could result into a horrendous bloodshed?.
An armed gang is reported to have gone back to a baking shop in Bomso in Kumasi to defend (well that is how it appears) one of their gang members who had an earlier misunderstanding with one the workers in the shop.
Little did the man know the gang member had not buried the hatchet even after they were separated earlier. A typical working night turned bloody when the armed men hit the bakery wielding AK 47 assault rifles and pistols started shooting intermittently at workers on duty.
The shootings has left two workers Margaret Oforiwaa and Kwame Adjei in critical condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Margaret was shot in the upper chest while Kwame was hit in the thigh.
The two, who bled profusely, are said to have been rushed to the KNUST Hospital and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in unconscious state, only for health personnel there to resuscitate them.
The gang later attacked a nearby family and issued warning shots. One member of the family confessed that it was a near death experience. Meanwhile, the KNUST District Police Command has launched investigations into the attack after visiting the crime scene.
