Swiss legend Roger Federer has reached the quarter finals at the All England Club with a comfortable fourth round victory over American Steve Johnson.
Federer won the contest 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 to wow the crowd on his favoured centre court.
At 34, Roger Federer is fighting to become the oldest man to win a Grand Slam in the Open era, and with the early elimination of world no.1 Novak Djokovic – who defeated him in last year’s final – the 17 time Grand Slam winner could yet add to his medals.
Federer would meet the winner of Marin Cilic and Kei Nishikori in the last eight.
