The thought of returning home to darkness is not something that would leave one orgasmic—it is a rather incongruous situation and as a nation we have been forced to get comfortable with it, after all what cannot be changed must be endured. You either get your generator or zip it and suffer in silence.
The success teacher, founder and leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) seems not be in concordance with the Ghanaian attitude towards dumsor. The man actually thinks we are throwing parties in our heads for being in such a hapless situation.

Founder and leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensa Otabil says he is shocked at how Ghanaians have taken the persistent power outages lightly.
“It’s sad that abnormal things have become normal with us. We have had two power outages within this short period and we see it as normal. If it had been in other countries, they would think the country was being invaded by another country.” Pastor Otabil said during E TV’s Ghana’s most influential awards night.
Even though the government claims it has restored the energy crisis with the provision of more thermal plants, concerns are rife over the capacity of these plants to fill in the gaping energy deficit in the country.
