Ghana’s Supreme Court in a landmark ruling has today ordered the Electoral Commission to delete from the current register names of the 56,000 persons it said registered with National Health Insurance cards.
The court has also ordered that EC should delete persons whose names were not submitted to the Supreme Court but registered with the NHIS cards.
