An Eritrean migrant who was being smuggled from Italy into Switzerland in a suitcase could not endure the pain of the journey—and after 45 minutes as the train crossed the Swiss-Italian border, passengers heard moans coming from the bag.
” The six-foot man had squeezed himself into the case and was wheeled onto a train in Milan, disguised as his friend’s luggage. But the discomfort took its toll after 45 minutes, causing him to wail,” MailOnline reports.
The website adds that; “Shocked passengers alerted authorities after hearing strange noises coming from the unattended bag. Guards removed the case from the train at Chiasso and were stunned when a human hand emerged.”
According to the Sun, authorities were already aware of the migrants and had planned to stop the train even before passengers heard the moaning.

‘We received a call from Italian colleagues that two Eritreans were attempting to get into the country and travel northwards across Europe to Britain,” a Swiss police source told the Sun

It’s deeply worrying the length and breath migrants go to so that they can make it to their final desire destinations—but considering the countries some of these people come from without any prospects of a better life for them, these risks are somewhat all they got.
