A trader at the Adabraka market in Accra has been bundled up by her colleagues and handed over to the police for allegedly selling human meat.
Starrfmonline reports other traders at the market carried out a citizen’s arrest of the woman, who they suspect had gone to see a spiritualist and was selling the human meat as part of a ritual.
The PRO of the Greater Accra Police Command, ASP Afia Tenge, confirmed the news to the Starrnews, saying the woman was being held in custody.
The suspected human meat has been sent for testing to determine its authenticity, ASP Tenge revealed.
