‘Ekiki Me’ hitmaker Wisa continues to fail to make court, and it seems even the bench warrant out for his arrest is virtually unenforceable since he cannot be found.
The singer missed another court date Thursday, when police turned up in court without the singer despite being ordered to produce him by the judge at the last court date.
Wisa, born Eugene Ashie of La, is standing trial for exposing his p*nis on stage during last year’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert. The case has been plagued with undue delays as he continues to miss court date after court date, culminating in the embarrassing spectacle of the police failing to locate one of the most recognisable people in the country to produce in court Thursday.
His lawyer also pleaded ignorance of his client’s whereabouts, but begged for the warrant to be rescinded.
The case has been adjourned to August 3.
This is a ‘foolish case’ in all but name now. A few more court dates and it would die a natural death.
