Shatta Wale recently announced plans to hold his own ‘Salahfest’ in Nima, a clear case of attempting to hit back at VVIP’s Prodigal for their earlier row.
Even though he cancelled his show on Salah day after being accused by VVIP’s Prodigal of trying to overshadow talent, Wale’s announcement showed he had no intention of letting Prodigal ‘get a win’, and now his latest announcement is intended to kill the biggest argument against him.
“ANY DANCEHALL ARTISTE WITH A POSITIVE MIND WHO WANTS TO PERFORM ON 23RD SHOULD FEEL FREE AND COME AND EXHIBIT HIS/HER TALENT.DANCEHALL JUST STARTED,SO COME AND LETS CONTROL THE CITY.. ITS ALL ABOUT PEACE AND FREEDOM. #CHAMPIOOOOOOOON 💪💪💪💪” he wrote on Facebook Tuesday.
He’s essentially saying, this isn’t just about me, this is about the up and coming stars too. And he’s banking on giving them a bigger stage than the original show.
He acts like a buffoon sometimes, but Wale understands the game quite well too.
