People are always so eager to please their ‘God’ that they forget to apply their senses to the lives they have here – causing irreparable damage to their loved ones and sometimes the world at large.
Religion seems to possess the unique ability of making people vacate their senses, as they rush to book their spot in heaven; there is no folly too great, no action too stupid.
A three year old boy in Dallas is dead after his uber religious parents left him locked up in their car under soaring temperatures in their haste to go and worship the Lord.
The family attended church at the Rehoboth Praise Assembly in the White Rock area in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend when the tragedy occured.
The parents went to their service and their five children also went to the children’s service, or so they thought. They only realised the youngest had been locked in the car when the other four emerged from children’s service without the three year old.
Temperatures had hit close to 38c on the day, MailOnline reported. He had been locked in the car for over 45 minutes.
Upon realising the child was not with them, the child’s father rushed to the family’s SUV, and returned into the church with the lifeless child’s body in his arms.
The child was rushed to the nearby Baylor Medical Centre, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Dallas police are reportedly looking into the incident.
