What do you do when you’ve taken the day off from your grueling life as a policewoman to go sunbathing with your friends, then some prick decides to come around and rob you guys?
You chase after him and arrest him, all whilst wearing nothing but the hot bikini you were sunbathing in, apparently.
A Swedish policewoman is winning massive props after doing exactly that in her homeland.
Mikaela Kellner was taking the day off sunbathing with friends in Stockholm’s Ralambshov Park on Wednesday when the incident occured.
She told Swedish paper the Aftonbladet that she and her friends were in the park when a man approached them claiming to be selling publications on behalf of the homeless.
The man, an apparent thief, set down his papers near their blankets, covering some of them, which made her suspicious.
Immediately after he left, one of their friends said her phone was missing, so Ms Kellner chased after him in her bikini, joined by another friend who was also an officer.
“There was no time, so I ran after him, maybe 15 metres or so,” she said.
“One of my friends is also a police officer, so we got hold of him. He tried to get away so we held onto him harder.
“I just acted on instinct and didn’t think about it so much until after we had pinned him down. When I sat there I looked over at our other two friends who are not police officers and realised that it probably looked pretty funny. But I would have stepped in no matter my outfit,” she added.
Nearby cops came and carted the man away, whilst Kellner posted a picture of the bikini arrest on Instagram, where it has since been garnering a lot of attention.
