Daughter of Daasebre Gyamenah has revealed she did not know her father was sick—and therefore was deeply shocked when she heard he had died.
According to Serwaa, “When I heard that he had died, I was shocked because I didn’t know he was ill.”
“So I called home and they said I should come join the family in this gathering where we are all trying to process the information,” she told Kojo Ansah, a journalist in the Eastern Region.
About her father, she had this to say:
“My father was a good man and I will miss him. He always came around when we had family gathering and he would perform all the time. I will remember him for his performances especially. Those will remain fresh in my memory.”
Daasebre Gyamenah died on Friday-29th July, 2016 at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.
