The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has come out strongly to deny that the President, John Dramani Mahama, has given GFP flagbearer Madam Akua Donkor some goodies, including a car and a house.
Deputy communications director Kwaku Boahen debunked the claims, which she made in a recent interview with Adom FM.
According to Boahen, the President has done no such thing.
“The NDC is not known for sharing items to its supporters” he said, deadpan.
“As a social democratic party, we would rather invest the monies in areas that would benefit everywhere” he added.
Akua Donkor had earlier claimed that President Mahama gave her a three bedroom house and two cars in Accra, presumably for her great help in promoting the NDC. Kwaku Boahen wants us to know that the NDC doesn’t share any goodies, even in election years.
Perhaps they think we all do not live in this country.
