One of the reason why Africa has low life expectancy is; you can die anyhow as our health systems seem to even be against us.
Yesterday, a father said to be from the Jasikan in the Volta Region nearly went crazy at the Amasaman hospital in Accra when his child died in his hands, because he did not have money for blood transfusion, per a video uploaded on social media and comments from the person who uploaded it.
It’s really sad as you can see the father confusingly walking about, saying, he will report the case to the authorities–a case the authorities won’t do anything about because they are part of the system.
In Ghana, money is everywhere–it largely depends when you will even die.
Why should a child just die because the father did not have enough money for blood transfusion?
