There is nothing wrong with your eyes, you read right–the beautiful voice is married and filing for divorce. Jhene Aiko made the headlines when she was seen frolicking with rapper Big Sean and the two seemed to making some good move on love.
We didn’t know Jhene was married until earlier this year when her Nigerian US based producer husband, Oladipo Omishore aka Dot Da Genius sent her a birthday message on Instagram. He wrote:
“Happy Birthday to my gorgeous wife. Happy to be on this quest with you!”
For obvious reasons, Jhene has filed for a divorce from husband last Tuesday at the back of “irreconcilable differences”. She has also asked the judge to deny spousal support for Dot Da Genius.
Interestingly, the documents, which were obtained by E! News, states that the former couple’s wedding date as July 26, 2014, and they have been separated since June 2015.
Guess now, she can officially make her relationship with Big Sean official.
