Usually, being part of an in group makes it difficult to realise that what is normal to you is not necessarily normal to everyone else.
Different people view different things in different ways (you would think this was the most obvious thing in the world), thus what is normal to a Christian would be far from normal to an atheist.
So atheists (and perhaps people from other religions) often have to put up with Christians determined to ‘save’ them. This takes the form of saying they’ll pray for you, sitting you down to preach to you the gospel about Jesus Christ, leaving a bible somewhere for you to find, and many other things normal to Christians but strange as hell to atheists.
A clever youtuber, perhaps to give Christians a similar perspective, has created a video in an alternate world where atheists are always on the offensive, trying to convert Christians. So someone would knock on your day and demand to talk to you about their lord and saviour Christopher Hitchens, or leave a copy of an atheist book somewhere you might find to read.
It’s a little hilarious video but which sheds light on how some seemingly innocuous actions by Christians can actually be annoying, and which they might understand by watching this video from the angle of the atheist.
