Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber has landed a landmark eight new records in the latest edition of the Guinness Book of Records.
Bieber’s success mainly comes off his magnificent year due to the chart successes of his latest album ‘Purpose’.
Bieber’s records span many categories, all marvellously impressive.
Representatives from Guinness recently met the pop star and handed him plaques honouring all his achievements, achievements which would be immortalised in print in the 2017 edition of the massive tome.
Below are Justin Bieber’s eight new records, according to Guinness.
Most streamed track on Spotify in one week – What Do You Mean (30,723,708)
Most streamed album on Spotify in one week – Purpose (205m)
Most simultaneous tracks on the US singles chart – (17 in December 2015)
Most simultaneous new entries in the Hot 100 by a solo artist – (13 in December 2015)
First act to occupy all top three positions simultaneously on UK singles chart – Love Yourself, Sorry, What Do You Mean 
Most followers on twitter (male) – 85,235,563
Most viewed music channel on YouTube (individual) – 10,478,651,389
Most subscribers on YouTube for a musician (male) – 20,711,202
