Less than 24 hours ago, it emerged that car giant-Toyota has recalled 337,000 2006-2011 model year Toyota RAV4 crossovers for tie rod failure–and Samsung is reportedly about to do the same for its flagship phone-Galaxy Note 7 that spontaneously explodes when being charged.
Reports say, Samsung is about to do something unprecedented, by globally recalling all of its flagship phones, just after they went on sale–because they are exploding when being charged.
According to South Korea’s Yonhap News, numerous investigated incidences of the phones blowing up while being charged have shown that the batteries were at fault and as such a prompt recall said to happen this weekend will be put through.
Though Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was launched just two weeks ago, several social media reports have shown the phones exploding while they were plugged in–with many pictures and videos of damaged Note 7 having been shared online in the last few days.
