Sylvester Stallone proved he is alive and well after a cruel rumour he was dead circulated on social media.
A fake news story, allegedly from U.S. news site CNN, was being shared on Facebook on Saturday (03Sep16), showing photo shopped pictures of the Rocky star in a body bag on a gurney.
The rumour even spread on Twitter, with fans alarmed at the news the 70-year-old had reportedly passed away.
However, Stallone took to Instagram on Saturday to dismiss the cruel rumours surrounding his apparent death, and posted a snap of him playing around with boxer Sergey ‘Krusher’ Kovzalev.
“With the incredibly powerful unified light heavyweight champion, Sergey “Krusher” Kovzalev… Whatever he hits, he destroys @sergeykovalev (sic),” the Rambo star captioned the fun snap in which he’s pretending to be hit by the huge Russian boxer.
On Friday, he also shared a cheeky selfie of him with his daughter Sophia as they enjoyed a meal together. Pulling fish faces at the camera, he wrote alongside the snap, “A wonderful quiet dinner together with my daughter.”
