Lucky Mensah Says Artistes Should Steer Clear Of The NDC As Associating With Them Destroys Careers

How much of a difference does four years of dumsor make? Lucky Mensah, who was one of the NDC’s top celebrity surrogates during the 2012 elections, has ditched the party and is now campaigning for the main opposition NPP.
Lucky Mensah supported the party stridently at the time, even composing a song for them – but has made a huge u-turn this time after realising the damage the NDC is doing to the country.
Speaking on Abusua Nkommo, Lucky Mensah warned fellow artists to shy away from the NDC, saying that not only are they destroying the country but they are also destroying the careers of artists who associate with them.
”Let me warn my colleagues in the showbiz industry. It is very dangerous to work for the NDC, they destroy careers.” he told Kwame Adinkra.
“A lot of my colleagues who have done artistic works for the NDC are today regretting. Their careers have either died or dying slowly…so they should be careful, Kwame, look at those that worked for the NPP, even though the party is still in opposition, they are living good and their career is growing significantly because Ghanaians…majority of Ghanaians are patronizing their art works. This should tell you that majority of Ghanaians are not happy with the NDC”, Mensah disclosed.
Mensah is set to release an NPP campaign song soon with Morris Babyface.
