Kojo Nkansah ‘Lil Win’ has a great idea to honour Ghana’s top showbiz icons, even if it is a little out there.

Lil Win, in a recent interview, has said that statues should be erected in honour of showbiz legends, to serve as a motivation for the upcoming generations of the contributions made to Ghana by said personalities.

A hall of fame or a walk of fame would not be a bad idea, but statues for every legend is just calling for trouble.

“When you travel abroad, musicians and movie stars are honoured with their statues.” he told seancitygh.

“Some are even serving as tourist sites. It makes people always remember them and their good works. You can even do that even when the person is alive just to let the individual know the essence of serving his nation. It will let the future generation know about past legends and also build good image for themselves and the nation.” he added.

Lil Win, however, added that if the state wasn’t ready to do that he would do one for himself.
