The family of the legendary Ghanaian music producer George Forest have announced that the late beat maker would be buried on the 5th of November.
Forest died late last month after he took ill.
A one week commemoration of his death was held in Kumasi Wednesday night, graced by multiple showbiz personalities.
The award winning producer fell ill some weeks ago, leading to visits to the hospital with his family which unfortunately failed to curb his malaise. He died early on Wednesday August 31, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Forest was most known for producing hit Gospel songs, and has worked with a wide array of stars including Obaapa Cristy, Cecilia Marfo and Gifty Osei. He also produced some highlife songs, including the uber popular Nana Achaempong hit “Anka Ebeye Den Na Aye Wo Ya”.
