Janet Jackson, who is pregnant with her first child at 50, is on “bed rest” as per doctors’ orders, US Weekly reports.
“She’s where all of her doctors are,” a source told the magazine. Adding, “But she had taken her mother out to lunch a few weeks ago.”
Jackson has not made an appearance publicly since news broke in May, two weeks shy of her 50th birthday, that she was expecting a baby with 41-year-old husband Al Mana.
The “Dammn Baby” singer announced in April she would be postponing her “Unbreakable” tour, which began in August 2015.
“My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” Jackson told fans in a video message she posted on Twitter.
“Please, if you can, try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders! But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
Jackson secretly wed her billionaire husband Mana in 2012, however she did not confirm the news until one year later. It is the singer’s third marriage.
