President Mahama Picks Up Nomination Forms For December Polls

The President has picked up his nomination forms for this upcoming December polls at the offices of the Electoral Commission with the opening of the nomination processes.
The Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho, picked up the forms on behalf of the President at the EC headquarters in Accra Wednesday.
The President becomes the first major party candidate to pick his forms – with those who picked theirs earlier on Tuesday including Kofi Akpaloo of the Independent People’s party (IPP), Madam Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akwasi Addai Odike of the United Progressive Party (UPP) and Nana Agyenim- Boateng of the United Front Party (UFP).
Presidential candidates pay Ghc 50,000 for the filing forms, with Parliamentary candidates set to pay Ghc 10,000 for the forms.
