As if he hasn’t been using the name of God to pull the same stunts.
T.B Joshua is the man who spews out vague words which he calls ‘prophesies’, then he and his team wait for some sort of public tragedy that could be loosely tied around it then insensitively cry out ‘I told you so’.
He’s the man who runs Emmanuel TV, the WWE of Christian tv, where miracles are choreographed for broadcast 24/7.
He’s the man who flouted building regulations in erecting a new church building, then refused to take responsibility when it killed scores of people, claiming his building was bombed to the ground.
This man is warning his church members of fraud.
Someone once said ‘satire isn’t dead but it’s living in the White House’. I say ‘irony isn’t dead, it’s living in SCOAN’.
The problem of online fraud is a real issue of course, and Joshua definitely would not like others impersonating him to scam others. But I’m willing to bet anything that if someone believes wholeheartedly in T.B Joshua, they’re willing to believe anything – getting to scam such people is not the hardest job in the world.
