Ghanaian dancehall artiste-MzVee, real name-Vera Hamenoo–Kpeda seems to think her stint with BET Awards has set her up to win the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ Artiste of the Year.
In an interview with Live Fm, MzVee said she’s optimistic that she will win the VGMA’s highest award next year—with what, we don’t know.
“I will win next year’s Vodafone Artiste of the year award. I am a very positive person and so is the people I work with and we always aim for Gold.”
“I believe in going for what is due you and I don’t set out to do something without a self-conviction that, it will turn out positive. Even if you ask me how convinced I am about winning a grammy, I will confidently say yes, I will win,” she said.
Of course, you can say you will even with a Nobel Prize–but actually winning it is a different ball game.
