It has not just been an Entertainment debate–politics has taken a centre stage of who’s popular among the two-John Dumelo and Agya Koo.
A few days ago after Kumawood actor-Agya Koo endorsed NPP’s Nana Akufo Addo, NDC’s National Campaign Coordinator-Kofi Adams came out to say he does not even know who hell the actor is–when Kofi Adams clearly knows John Dumelo.
Adams’ statement has erected a long chain of social media date with some people saying Agya Koo is far popular than John Dumelo in and outside Ghana, thus, Kofi Adams cannot claim to not know Agya Koo while maintaining that he knows John Dumelo.
Others have also argued that John Dumelo’s popularity far out beats that of Agya Koo.

Agya koo beats dumelo hands down. This debates relates to Ghana politics so Agya koo all the way….Dumelo is just a stomach politician who joined to fill his stomach and because his career is dead.
The number of films people have watched with Agya koo far outnumber the films they have watched with dumelo. dumelo’s films target the upmarket crowd.
Agya koo films target the ordinary Ghanaian and the ordinary Ghanaian far out number the upmarket Shirley Frimpong Manso type dumelo crowd.
If Kofi Adams were honest he will admit that he knows Dumelo more for scandals not politics.
In what world can dumelo beat Agya koo in popularity.
Agya koo was making people laugh sincerely when john was acting half nude with his man boobs and even that he cant sustain it cos john’s career is DEAD.
He is now acting for free with the small roles he gets or acting for yvonne nelson again for free. Tweaaa.

When john is out of Ghana it is mostly out to socialize with women and fans or to attend parties and events. Hardly does it have to do with films.
If Agya Koo and Dumelo were to walk down the streets of Brixton (London) or Kassel (Germany) trust me Dumelo will look like a broken toy that nobody wants especially with all the various troubles and fraud cases he has attracted lately. That has made dumelo more popular than even movies.
Kofi Adam was only defending Dumelo because dumelo is their new errand boy. dumelo is walking from bush to bush, village to village and driving from market to market like a house boy hoping for post. Kofi Adams has to acknowledge dumelo but Adams knows john is a fraudster and even in the last few months if its not University bombings then its swindling women. All of which dumelo cant even find his mouth to address those topics because they are all true. Even Anas has been on to him before. How can such a fake and fraud be compared to Agya?
Agya Koo and Dumelo it’s like comparing a tiger (Agya Koo) to a rat (Dumelo).
The tiger in question is known and very popular for his comic relief and acting skills.
The rat in question is known for opportunistic and advantage taking of politics more than movies today. I don’t remember the last time a good film was released with dumelo in it. That’s why dumelo himself has shifted to politics because if nothing at all he has got a land cruiser out of it to run the errands.

Then google dumelo and see his lifetime crimes, fraud, fake marraiges, swindling women, Anas on his tail, backdated cheque, 4 years in KNUST no qualification…..the list goes on.
Yes, they are both popular but Agya koo is more popular for things worth emulating BUT Dumelo is popular for the most disturbing scandals known in the entertainment industry….from Ghana to America. Just google.

Behind closed doors they are discussing to get dumelo out of the dirt and clean him up meanwhile dumelo bring scandal after scandal like a pig in mud but NDC folk have no choice than to defend him because he is doing the leg work while they relax small.
Agya Koo has not tarnished, soiled or damaged his reputation to the point where even Anas has come after him and forced him to pay back women he defrauded.

In Washington DC we know John for coming to do event and parties but with Agya Koo we all know him to be a comedian and actor instantly.
Sometimes when John is around we even forget he is an actor. We also know john for serious embarrassing scandals especially from one woman to the next.
Secondly most of John’s films are soo explicit with nude and seks scenes that its become predictable so we hardly watch them anymore, that’s why his career is dead.
On a professional and popularity level John is a small puppy and Agya is a BIG dog. Period.
Don’t mind Kofi Adams. He knows very well who Agya koo is, but his playing politics.
John dumelo is like a fresh new born baby with no teeth to even bite compared to the matured talent popular for actually acting Agya.koo. This debate is useless and the only person who will suffer is Dumelo because if you want to really get into what he is popular for then it is NOT acting or politics my friends. Its pure undiluted fraudulent games where real people have been hurt and suffered, even going to the police.
What is there to celebrate about Dumelo? Give us a break Kofi Adams!
Even Johns own classmates, friends and fellow actors went mute when his last scandal broke out. They all know john will kiss any a$$ for money, luxury and comfort. His own friend confirmed that he loves to kissa$$. It doesn’t matter if they have made up now the truth is she said it and she meant it.
Is this the guy to compare with someone accomplished over decades like Agya who is practically scandal free compared to the mountain of troubles, lies, proven allegations against dumelo?
Pls lets not even compare a massive watermelon (Agya) to a piece of burnt groundnut (Dumelo)
