Inusah Fuseini Denies Paying Ghc 80,000 For Shatta Wale To Perform At His Campaign Launch

Inusah-Fuseini
The Minister for Roads and Highways and NDC MP for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, has come out to vehemently deny a story claiming he paid Shatta Wale Ghc 80,000 to perform at his campaign launch.
Shatta Wale performed over the weekend in Tamale at the Minister’s campaign launch in his constituency, a performance the Daily Guide alleged Monday morning, fetched him Ghc 80,000.
But Fuseini has strictly come out to nip the story in the bud. Speaking on 3Fm Monday, the MP said he did not hire Shatta to perform at his campaign launch and that he has never even met the artiste.
“When I was about to launch my campaign, a friend offered to bring Shata Wale to sing the song [Mahama paper]. That’s how Shatta came to town and performed with other artistes,” he said on Sunrise.
“I am fed up with how they [the Daily Guide] have been trying consistently to malign me.  I’ve not even met Shatta Wale.”
Inusah Fuseini added that he is going to explore seeking legal action against the newspaper.
“I’m going to see my lawyers and they [Daily Guide] must redeem my reputation,”
