The outspoken general secretary of the ruling NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, survived a harrowing experience over the weekend when he was involved in an accident.
General Mosquito, as he’s generally known as, was returning from a campaign stop in the Brong Ahafo region when his car and a taxicab rammed into each other.
The incident occurred in a town known as Nante-Zongo near Kintampo.
Mosquito’s Toyota V8 and the taxi collided, with the taxi sustaining most amount of damage. The driver sustained significant head and body injuries and had to be rushed to the Kintampo government hospital. The NDC scribe was whisked away by constituency executives, shaken but ultimately with no major injuries.
