The controversial, headline grabbing ‘counsellor’ of Ghana, Counsellor George Lutterodt, is back with another zinger of an utterance.
This time, he’s reserving some wrath for ‘stupid’ men; men who in his estimation, give the credit to the wrong person after enjoying a meal.
Speaking on Okay Fm, a fired up Lutterodt said that men who thanked Jesus after enjoying their wives cooked meals are stupid as they are directing credit to the wrong source.
“Any man on earth who will finish eating the wife’s food and will say ‘thank you Jesus’ is a very stupid man”. he said on Abeiku Santana’s show.
“Why should men say ‘thank you Jesus’ but not ‘thank you my wife?’.
“Your wife has served you food,… Have you seen Jesus going to the market before. Thank you Jesus for what”, a befuddled Lutterodt wondered.
A fellow panellist, Mrs Akosua Kyeiwaa Arhin, disagreed, saying that Jesus gave the wife the strength to cook the food, so should ultimately receive the thanks. Notice how the man is arguing the woman’s position and the woman is arguing the man’s?
I guess my question would be: who are all those men saying ‘thank you Jesus’ after eating?
